Receiver on the machine, controller away from it

A self-contained loader puts the blower on top of the machine hopper. It is cheaper and it works — until you stand next to it for eight hours, or until the motor needs servicing and the whole unit has to come off the hopper.

Load-Well™ SVL separates the two. The receiver sits on the machine hopper. The blower and controller sit where they can be reached without climbing and heard without shouting.

Sensing demand without a moving part

Many loaders sense demand with a mechanical flap: material pushes the flap, the flap trips a switch. It works with clean virgin material. It sticks when there are fines, and it wears where the material rubs.

The SVL uses an inductive proximity sensor with 360° switching indication. Nothing moves and nothing wears, so the switching point does not drift as fines build up.

Nor is there a cam. A conventional loader trips a micro switch off a cam, and a cam has to be reset — repeatedly, and usually by somebody you have to call out. There is nothing here to set.

Two stages of filtration, cleaned by hand

Air leaving the receiver passes a primary screen first — a gasket with SS-304 wire mesh embedded in it — and then, at the blower, a pleated paper cartridge of 195 mm outside diameter and 135 mm high. The mesh sits where the product is; the cartridge sits where the machinery is.

Cleaning is manual, and for granules that is the honest answer: granules do not follow the air into the filter the way a fine material does, so the cartridge does not blind within a shift. Hand cleaning on a sensible interval is enough, and there is no pulse valve or timer to go wrong.

Granules, and nothing else

Load-Well™ SVL is for conveying plastic granules. It is not to be used for powders, nor for flammable or explosive materials, nor for liquids or semi-liquids.

We would rather print that than have a loader bought for the wrong duty. If your material is not a free-flowing granule, tell us what it is before you order and we will say whether this machine suits it.

Modular, so the receiver comes off

The receiver hopper detaches from the flapper assembly by a tri-clover clamp, available as an option. That is what makes cleaning quick between a colour change or a grade change.

Material reaches the receiver through a 4 m PVC hose and a 750 mm stainless lance, and both the material and suction ports can be set anywhere through 360°, so the loader is positioned to suit the machine rather than the machine to suit the loader.

Upper suction or side suction

The suction can be taken from the top of the lid or from the side of the barrel, and both the material and suction ports can be set anywhere through 360°. Which one suits depends on where the hose can run without being walked into or bent tight against the machine.

What is in the panel

Contactor, MCB and overload relay are Schneider. Phase-loss protection is standard. A no-load audio-visual alarm tells the operator the receiver has stopped filling, rather than leaving the machine to run itself dry.
